Location
The "Davydovskoe" cottage village is situated in the Istrinskiy district of Moscow region, near the small village of "Davydovskoe", 1,5 km away from the Novorizhskoe Highway. This district has its own unique natural and historical peculiarities, making part of Moscow’s garden suburbs water-protective zones. There are pine and leaf woods, rivers, lakes and an artificial lake, plus some mineral water springs.
On the one hand the village borders with woods, on the other hand with the “Gosteleradio SSSR” suburban association. The village is hidden from the motorway by fencing and trees. On both hands of the village there are houses of the same style built upon individual projects; some allotments are reserved for sale with no cottages built.

Besides, 10 minutes drive of the village there is the Novoierusalimsky Monastery, founded in 1656 by the Patriarch Nikon. It is a unique architectural monument which recreated the icon of the Holy Land near Moscow. The Monastery’s main Temple – the Voskresensky Cathedral – represents an exact copy of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. Let’s not leave apart the picturesque banks of the Istrinskoe artificial lake, which is 10 km away, plus other smaller lakes and rivers, cleanest air of birch woods. It is a very attractive district for those who want to recreate.
Near the village of Kotovo, which is 2 km of the "Davydovskoe" cottage village, there is planned and already under construction a golf club, the biggest one in Moscow region, plus courts, horse barns, sport clubs, restaurants and bars. For winter sports lovers there is a recreation facility five kilometers away from the village with a ski slope and a lift. There is a helipad located just near the village.

By car: by Novorizhskoe or Volokolamskoe Highway. Travel time from the Moscow MKAD Ring Road is about 20-25 minutes.
By public transport: by the Rizhskaya railway by suburban train till the "Istra" stop, then continue by bus.
Nowadays Novorizhskoe Highway is the most convenient motorway for driving among all existing ones in Moscow region. At any day and at any time You can easily come from Moscow and go back there spending a minimum of time. You will need only some 20-25 minutes to cover the distance from the Moscow MKAD Ring Road to the cottage complex. Moreover, at the end of 2008 Novorizhskoe Highway was connected via a tunnel and the Zhivopisnyi bridge with the Prospect Zhukova way, thus making the way to Moscow city center even more quick.
